Weekends-Golden Gate, San Fran

Weekends are perhaps the best time!. We visited parts of san fran over the weekends. The day wasnt really a good day for visiting- due to rain and hence it was freezing most of the time. But that wasnt going to stop us from having a great time.

I had one of the most remarkable sight of this trip when we visited the Golden Gate Bridge- check out my pics!!. The Golden Gate Bridge had the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1937, and has become an internationally recognized symbol of San Francisco and California.

We headed to Fisherman Wharves after the golden gate bridge. It was there when I had extremely delicious clam chowder!! The fish and chip is kinda sucky though so avoid it!!. After lunch, our groups were split into various parties… I was a little more adventurous and I kinda drag YingQi along to Haigh street. It is kind of fun traveling wrinkled maps (due to rain). While traveling to Haigh Street, I bypass my street - Jefferson Street (name after Thomas Jefferson). Haigh Street was a rather interesting place, it will filled with oldies stuff such as gramophone records and 1950s Jackets. The streets was filled with graffiti - parking meter, walls, lamps, you name it, are all decorated with street arts. We manage to walk along the whole of Haigh street before heading back to Fisherman Wharf.

The day ended with a romantic dinner with red wines and white wines at the crab House. The garlic crab is fabulous- I wish they had rice to go along though(sometimes i forgot im in America). The crab is a must try over here, but be prepared to spend up to usd 35 per person if you intend to have a good meal. If you wonder why our faces are so red in some of pics - all credits to red wine and beer.
