Flaii

iLeaders visited the PlugandPlayTechCenter and had meet-ups with several companies that resides/operates at the incubator. However, due to some last minute changes, we did not have the opportunity to have discussions with Flaii.

Researches were done for the company Flaii but our team met some problems. As Flaii is a relatively new company, there is insufficient information available in the internet. As for Flaii’s website, most information is still unavailable and our team is only gathered basic information about the company and did other research that was related to the topic that Flaii was involved in. We also send in an email to query about the product and the response indicated that the product will be launched next year. So look out for it.

Information Visualisation

Information Visualisation is a fast growing research field and an industry with tremendous potential. Virtual environments provide a unique medium for people to communicate and interact over computer networks. Information Visualisation and Virtual Environments links the two areas together and presents the latest research and development, highlighting the potential of information visualisation as an enabling technology in the design of new generations of virtual environments.

It is also the interdisciplinary study of the visual representation of large-scale collections of non-numerical information, such as files and lines of code in software systems, and the use of graphical techniques to help people understand and analyze data. In contrast with scientific visualization, information visualization focuses on abstract data sets, such as unstructured text or points in high-dimensional space, that do not have an inherent 2D or 3D geometrical structure.
