Company of your internship & describe the experience: All Property Media Pte Ltd (Better known as PropertyGuru)

Being a start-up company, PropertyGuru was an excellent learning ground for me as it highlighted many areas of concern of which a start-up may experience. (Eg. Funding, Hiring and Retaining, Mkting, Getting the company’s first client…etc) It was very different from my past experience doing internship at Adecco, an MNC involved in headhunting, human resource matters as it allowed me to be part of the strategic planning of the company and not just simply the operational aspects of the business. For instance, I was given the chance to give my opinions on matters like product development, customer service etc. One thing i learnt in PropertyGuru is the importance of constantly improving an existing product or service. To be a market leader, one has to keep aiming at higher grounds or your competitors will take over you.
